I am grateful for you, Sally. I am grateful for the amazing team of Editors who work tirelessly to keep this beautiful, beautiful publication alive.
For a long while, after joining Medium, I struggled to find my writing voice. I was trying to fit into the specifications put forth by the different publications here. I was trying to write listicles and self-improvement articles but that was until I discovered this publication. Age of Empathy gave me freedom. The freedom to be myself. To write in the exact style I wanted to. It gave me the space to discover my writing style.
And for that I am eternally grateful.
